Black Tea is made from the leaves of a bush called Camellia sinensis. The process of oxidation turns the leaves from green to a dark brownish-black color. Black tea is a fully oxidized tea. Black tea contains caffeine is also full of healthy substances called polyphenols. These Polyphenols are antioxidants that can help protect your cells from DNA damage.

A strong cup of black tea has proved to be the perfect energizers. Many Earl Grey blends are made from black tea leaves.

Directions:
Put one tea bag in a cup and add 100-120ml boiling wáter. Keep the tea bag in a cup for 2-3 minutes. Add natural sweetner if desired.

If using loose leaf tea, use 2–3 grams of tea leaves for every six ounces of water in a strainer.Let the tea steep in the water for 3–5 minutes. After steeping, remove the tea leaves or tea bag from the water and enjoy.
